What is the meaning of Integral Energy?

Are there incentives for using compressed natural gas?

The federal government currently doesn’t offer incentives for using or converting to alternative fuels such as compressed natural gas. However, individual states are regulating their own benefits and tax breaks for utilizing a CNG vehicle or fleet.

Who uses natural gas?

With its environmental and cost-saving benefits, natural gas use continues to grow. It is becoming more widely used in commercial truck fleets, government fleets, public transportation, locomotives and ships. There are now even natural gas vehicles available to the general public.

How common is compressed natural gas in public transportation?

Public transportation operating on CNG has become more common over the years and approximately 20 percent of public transportation buses in the United States utilize it according to Natural Gas Vehicles for America (NGVAmerica). The larger CNG usage states include Texas, California and New York.

How do I know if CNG makes sense for my business?

How many compressed natural gas stations are available today?

There are an estimated 1,000 CNG stations nationwide according to the U.S. Department of Energy. New stations are continuously being built as demand increases. Station locations can be found here.

Is compressed natural gas produced domestically?

The U.S. Department of Energy states that approximately 94 percent of CNG is produced in the United States.

What are the benefits of compressed natural gas?

There are several benefits of converting to CNG. It is one of the cleanest forms of alternative energy and has reduced environmental emissions compared to gasolines and diesel. CNG is also more sustainable as it is made from renewable resources and produced from efficient technologies.

What is the future of natural gas?

According to the Department of Energy Annual Outlook Report 2014, ‘America's energy boom will continue for decades, and natural gas will replace coal as the largest source of U.S. electricity by 2035.’
